Push email utilizes a mail delivery system with real-time capability to “push” email through to the client as soon as it arrives, rather than requiring the client to poll and collect or pull mail manually. With a push email smartphone, for example, the client’s mailbox is constantly updated with arriving email without user intervention. Smartphones announce new mail arrival with an alert. Fortunately, our servers allow you to synchronize your smartphone with your mailbox by using IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol). To configure a Push Email account on your smartphone, what you need to know are:

  1. Your username for the email account, this is exactly same as your email address (i.e. [email protected]).
  2. Your password for the email account.
  3. Incoming IMAP server, for example: mail.YourDomain.com
  4. Incoming port: 143
  5. Outgoing SMTP server, for example: mail.YourDomain.com
  6. Outgoing port: 587
  7. Secure connection (TLS/SSL) for both incoming and outgoing servers must NOT be ticked
